Since graduating from the University of Science and Technology of China in 1986, our USTC Class of 786 alumni have achieved remarkable success in their respective fields. Our alumni are spread across the globe, making significant contributions in academic research, technological innovation, business management, public service, and many other areas. We present important papers at international academic conferences, hold key positions in multinational corporations, participate in global governance through international organizations, and cultivate the next generation of scientific and technological talent at universities worldwide. Remembering our roots, Class 786 alumni always keep in mind the nurturing we received from our alma mater. Over the years, we have given back to our university and society in various ways:
